As we reported last week, the Wells Fargo signage on the 1 Independent building in Jacksonville, Florida was removed via helicopter on Sunday. Daytona Beach, Florida-based Southeastern Lighting Solutions and High Angle Services orchestrated the removal for Signtech using a 1958 vintage Sikorsky S-58 helicopter.
The company removed the giant letters of the Wells Fargo signage and carefully lowered them onto a pier in a nearby shipyard, where they were gathered for transport by the Southeastern Lighting crew. Check out the great images captured by the Florida Times-Union’s Bob Self below.
