Esko announces that Sun Digital has been appointed a reseller of Kongsberg digital finishing systems and the i-cut Suite in Florida.
“We are happy to extend our relationship with an experienced partner such as Sun Digital into Florida,” says Bill Hartman, Esko vice president Business Development, Digital Finishing. “We expect that they will very easily leverage their experience selling, installing, and servicing Kongsberg digital finishing systems and the i-cut Suite in Central America. What is just as important to us is their knowledge of building complete digital systems. They understand how to integrate our Kongsberg digital finishing systems as part of complete digital wide format sign and display solutions.”
Sun Digital was founded in Mexico City in 2002 by Ricardo del Castillo, who had more than thirty years’ experience providing hardware and software to the graphic arts market. The company is valued for its excellence in customer service, competitive pricing and innovative solutions based on cutting-edge technology. Sun Digital, an HP Graphic Arts Elite Partner, has become an extremely strong distribution partner in Mexico and Central America for HP Indigo, HP Scitex, and HP inkjet web presses.
Sun Digital has already been a successful reseller of Esko Kongsberg digital finishing systems for several years throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The company will now extend its reach into Florida, where it currently operates a sales and distribution office in Weston, FL.
“We are now looking forward to representing Esko wide format solutions—Kongsberg digital finishing systems, and the i-cut Suite workflow—in Florida,” says Alberto Prieto, director, Sun Digital LA LLC. “Many of our customers have benefited from an Esko solution. It has played an important role, offering our customers a way to finish jobs that have been printed digitally or conventionally. An in-house digital finishing capability builds profitability and enhances cash flow. We have a lot of confidence in Florida and foresee many opportunities to build on our successes in Latin America and transfer that experience to help printers here.”
