For Super Cheap Signs, of Austin, Texas, the addition of the Novus Synergia H/UV printer has opened the doors to high-production, high-quality output that is a critical element of its business. The order-online sign shop relies on speed and accuracy and offers customizable yard signs, banners, stickers, car magnets, and other printed materials.
“We often handle print jobs of 250, 300, and 500 corrugated plastic yard signs a day,” according to Jeff St. Amour, Operations Director. “We decided to purchase the Novus Synergia because we were experiencing rapid growth in our business, and we wanted a product we could depend on for service and speed.
“Plus we liked the price and the warranty terms.”
After seeing the product at the Global Imaging ISA booth in 2014, they were so impressed they purchased the floor demo. “Reliability of the machine (up-time) enables us to meet order due dates and keep up with our promise of a quick turnaround,” said St. Amour. “We have increased our production by 50 percent because of the speed and efficiency of the Synergia.”
Not only is the Synergia six-times faster than its other printer, it is able to produce one-, two-, and full-color print jobs efficiently with consistent high quality results. “Taking on more print hours was a real benefit and in the last year we’ve hired more talented people and more than doubled our office space,” said St. Amour.
