The two-sided marquee display, with each side measuring approximately nine feet high-by-sixteen feet wide, incorporates excellent clarity and contrast for video images, multiple levels of protection from the elements, and a more robust cabinet design with an improved ventilation system. With pixels spaced at 15mm, both vehicle traffic and pedestrians will have clear visibility of the signage. It has the ability to show animations and graphics and promote all upcoming events.
“This new marquee will allow us to reach fans and passersby 365 days of the year,” said Lawrence Lepore, general manager of SMG, a venue management, marketing, and development company. “We’ve worked with Daktronics in the past, and we are happy to do so again. It’s a great way to keep our community informed and to provide additional visibility for our events.”
The Dunkin’ Donuts Center had a Daktronics centerhung display installed in 2007 that featured twelve LED video and ribbon displays. “We have a valued, long-term partnership with the Dunkin’ Donuts Center,” said Daktronics Regional Sales Manager Ross Yanco, “and we are very pleased to be working with them again on this project. The new marquee will only add to the Center’s impressive array of video technology.”
Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
