Wasatch Computer Technology, LLC is excited to announce that SoftRIP TX has won SGIA’s 2015 Product of the Year award in the category of “Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile for RIP Software.”
SGIA’s team of digital imaging professionals evaluate and award exceptional products that are showcased at the expo. SoftRIP TX was showcased with Epson’s SureColor® F9200 dye sublimation printer, which won Product of the Year in the “Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile” category.
“I’m thrilled to share this award with our users, who are constantly pushing the boundaries of dye sublimation printing. They have made this award possible for us,” said Mike Ware, president.
Wasatch SoftRIP TX’s features are designed specifically for digital textile printing and have all the functionality of SoftRIP. Users can control their dye sublimation printing process with a number of specialized tools. The Color Atlas Generator and the new Color Neighborhood Analyzer allow users to print a range of color swatches on their target media and use SoftRIP’s Spot Color Replacement tool to enter RGB values for exact color matching. SoftRIP’s exclusive 16-bit rendering pipeline means color subtleties and gradients in images are maintained, reproducing color with the greatest level of intricacy for high-definition output.
A total of 141 entries in 38 product categories were submitted for this exclusive competition. Conducted during the 2015 SGIA Expo, this year’s event was one of the most challenging in recent history. SGIA’s (Specialty Graphic Imaging Association) yearly expo took place in Atlanta, GA. Wasatch SoftRIP was represented in over 30 booths on the show floor.
