Western Kentucky University and IMG College have partnered with Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota, to provide upgrades to Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The company designed, manufactured and installed the new vomitory LED displays late this summer in time for the upcoming Hilltoppers sports seasons.
The displays enhance the game-day experience for fans and student-athletes while providing an additional revenue source through greater flexibility and impact for sponsors’ messages.
Eight displays were installed above seating entrances in Diddle Arena. All displays feature 15 millimeter line spacing and each measures approximately 3 feet high by 9 feet wide. They provide all the versatility of digital signage including the ability to switch content quickly and seamlessly to highlight sponsors, entice fans to cheer louder at key points during games, and showing other announcements and game information. They show crisp, clear imagery with wide angle visibility to appeal to every seat in the arena.
“We’re excited to partner with Western Kentucky University and IMG College on these visual upgrades for Diddle Arena,” said Kyle Adams, Daktronics regional manager. “The new displays bring additional flexibility to the arena for communicating with their fans and sending desired messaging to everyone attending an event.”
Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with consistent, industry-leading performance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
